The licence for installing and using the Safe & Informed application.
We grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to install and use the Licensed Application on devices you own or control, for your personal use, in accordance with the usage rules of the store from which you obtained it. You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the Licensed Application.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive the source code of the Licensed Application, except to the extent permitted by law, and you may not modify or create derivative works of it. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using it.
The Licensed Application has no user accounts, and we do not access or adjust your content. The sources you add, your reading and listening history and your settings remain on your device, or in your own iCloud or Google Drive if you enable synchronisation, to which we have no access. We process only the limited technical data described in our Privacy Policy, which you can read in the App settings or at https://www.safeandinformed.com/privacy.
Any summaries or synthetic-voice output produced on the Pro plan are provided for your personal, non-commercial use, are attributed to the source publication and are marked as AI-generated. You may not record, redistribute or publicly perform such output. It may contain inaccuracies and depends on third-party AI providers.
AI-voice credits. The Pro subscription includes a monthly allowance of AI-voice plays that resets on the first day of each calendar month; unused monthly plays do not carry over. You may also purchase additional AI-voice credits as one-time top-up packs. Purchased credits are valid for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase, after which any unused balance from that pack expires. Monthly credits are always used before purchased credits, so a purchased pack is only drawn upon once the monthly allowance is exhausted. Purchased credits are consumed for newly generated AI audio only; replays from cache, technical failures and system-voice fallbacks do not consume credits. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or the app store's refund policy.
The Licensed Application enables you to access sources that you choose yourself. We do not own, host or control that content and are not responsible for its accuracy, legality or availability. You are responsible for the sources you add and for complying with their terms.
We, and not the stores, are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the Licensed Application. You can reach us at [email protected].
In the event of any failure of the Licensed Application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify the store, and the store may refund the price you paid for the Licensed Application (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, the store has no other warranty obligation. We, and not the stores, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the Licensed Application, including product-liability claims and claims arising under consumer-protection or privacy legislation. Your mandatory rights as a consumer are not affected.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and that you are not on any list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and Google, and their subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce it against you as a third-party beneficiary.
This EULA is governed by the laws of Romania, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence in the European Union.
